New Departure Date
So by now we were supposed to be well into our European holiday, we were looking forward to this so much, it was supposed to be the culmination of nearly 2 years of planning as well as basically turning ourselves into a Trademe store. We had culled our possessions down to the bare minimum with the aim of traveling to Europe with just 4 bags in tow.
So while this isn't quite what we had planned, we are trying to stay positive, and make the most of the time we have now that I'm (Simon) on holiday.
Being off work and Maddie off school has had some great benefits for the family, William's speech has shot up so much now that he's talking (rubbish) to his sister all day, and the daily walks have done wonders for their competence on their respective bikes.
Now we have a new departure window (not date as no flights have been booked), we are hoping to get to Dublin by the first week of July, this is reasonably optimistic at this stage, but it's what we're working towards, so hoping we can make it a reality.
We've enrolled Maddie into a school for September start, and have eyed up a flash apartment for us to stay in very close to my work! It's all very exciting.
Lastly, here are some of the adventures we've been having on lock-down.
